About these terms

Playaholics is run by Digital Recreations Pty Ltd, trading as AiGILE Dev (ABN 19 668 879 356), Ground Floor, 50 Miller Street, North Sydney NSW 2060 ("we" or "us"). By playing or creating an account, you agree to these terms. Please read them along with our privacy policy.

Who can play

Anyone can play without an account. To create an account you must be 16 or older, and give your real year of birth. If you're under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is happy for you to use the site.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• One account per person.
• You can delete your account at any time from your profile, or by emailing hello@playaholics.com.

Display names

Your display name is public. It must:

• be 3 to 20 characters: letters, numbers, _ and .
• not be offensive, hateful or sexual
• not pretend to be someone else, or suggest you speak for Playaholics
• not include contact details or advertising

We may change or remove a display name that breaks these rules, and ask you to choose another.

Playing fair

Leaderboards are only worth something if everyone plays fair. You agree not to:

• use bots, scripts or other software to play or to help you play
• interfere with how games or scores work, or exploit a bug to get a better score
• play on more than one account to improve your position
• try to get into parts of the site or our systems you're not meant to

Our servers check every ranked score. We may remove scores, reset leaderboards, or suspend or close accounts where we reasonably believe someone hasn't played fair. If you find a bug, please tell us at hello@playaholics.com rather than using it.

Leaderboards and scores

Leaderboards are for fun. There are no cash prizes. Scores, ranks and periods (today, this week, all time) may change if we fix a problem, remove an unfair score or change how a game is scored.

P-Nuts and other virtual items

P-Nuts and in-game items such as power-ups are virtual. They:

• have no cash value and can't be exchanged for money
• can't be sold, transferred or traded between players
• may change, or be withdrawn, as games change

If we ever sell P-Nuts or items for real money, we'll update these terms first, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law will apply.

Advertising

The site may show ads to keep it free to play. Ads are provided by third parties; we're not responsible for what's advertised, but we don't allow gambling ads.

Our content

The games, designs, words and code on Playaholics belong to us or to the people who make the games. You can play and share links and results, but you can't copy, resell or republish the games or their content.

Games made by others

Some games may in future be made by other developers. They'll be clearly labelled. These terms still apply when you play them on Playaholics.

The site as it is

We work to keep Playaholics running well, but we can't promise it will always be available, free of errors or unchanged. We may change, pause or retire games and features.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Apart from those rights, and to the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect loss, or for loss of data, scores or virtual items.

Ending your use

You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell account holders by email about changes that matter before they take effect. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
